International cooperation initiatives include a vast array of activities that cover several priority areas identified by the Government of Belize, including Health, Education, Information & Communication Technology, Trade, Human Capital Development, Security, Environment, Good Governance, Enterprise Growth and Agriculture to name a few. Assistance also includes short term training, scholarships is select areas, provision of technical experts, construction of infrastructure and provision of equipment, and other sectors. Cooperation initiatives are further aligned with the Medium-Term Development Strategy and the objectives outlined in Plan Belize.

Belize enjoys extensive and rewarding cooperation support with tangible results that can be seen across the country and have a positive impact on an individual’s life, a community, and the nation as a whole.
