The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Immigration organized an educational conference on CARICOM and Belize’s progress in honor of Belize’s signing of the Treaty of Chaguaramas. Experts from a range of development fields, including history, commerce and economic development, coordination of foreign policies, education, and climate change, presented at the event. The unveiling of a piece of art created by Belizean artist German Figueroa was one of the event’s highlights.
